About Us The Blue Moon Jazz Club was founded in November of 2004 by Grant Smiley and his friends Chris Johnston and Jeff Hobe as a non-profit community band. Since then, the band has really taken off. We have talented players from Middletown to Anderson and everywhere in between. We welcome our members who play in other bands, such as the Procter & Gamble Big Band, the Maple Knoll Big Band, and many others. To inquire about becoming a member of our band, please contact the Director.
